Small Claims Court
In British Columbia, most civil law disputes with a value between $5,001 and $35,000 are resolved in the Small Claims Court, a division of BC's Provincial Court.
Civil Resolution Tribunal
In British Columbia, most civil law disputes with a value of $5,000 or less are resolved in the Civil Resolution Tribunal. Most new claims for motor vehicle accidents and injuries with a value of $50,000 or less will also proceed through the CRT.
